DESCRIPTION:Rachel Kolsky\, PhD; 301-338-8205; rkolsky@brighteroutlook-cbt.com \n\n\n\nDoes your child struggle to speak in certain situations or feel anxious in social settings? \n\n\n\nOur 8-week exposure-based therapeutic skills group is designed to help young children ages 4-8 years with selective mutism and social anxiety practice and build confidence in brave speech and social interaction. We simulate a classroom environment with the goal of generalizing speech across a variety of activities and with both peers and adults.
