True Voices Summer Camp is a welcoming, supportive space where children can build confidence and practice using their voice. Grounded in research-based PCIT-SM framework, our three-day intensive camp is designed to gently help your child feel more comfortable speaking in a group setting.
Through thoughtfully designed activities and real-world community experiences, we focus not only on helping your child feel more capable and confident, but also on helping you, the parent or caregiver, feel supported and prepared. You’ll gain tools and confidence to help your child in those challenging moments when speaking feels hard, so you’re not navigating those situations alone.
Camp includes:
- 15 hours of child-focused therapy in a group setting with an individual counselor who provides one-to-one therapeutic support.
- Daily developmentally appropriate and fun camp events and activities.
- 6 hours of parent training in a group setting and additional live coaching with your camper during planned exposures.
- 1-hour skills-based teacher training call after camp ends and includes an outline of a progression of speaking goals for the school to follow, tailored to your child.
