Riding the Wave weeklong therapeutic camp provides children with high-quality, culturally sensitive, cognitive behavioral therapy treatment in a warm, fun setting.
Most of our campers experience a primary anxiety/OCD-related disorder. Campers benefit from a 1:1 camper-counselor ratio as they engage in individualized exposure therapy exercises depending on their clinical goals.
Activities are all thoughtfully designed to be fun, creative and also individualized to ensure treatment gains. The social support is powerful, helping meaningful friendships to develop. We deeply care about each child’s well-being and are in close collaboration with parents, primary therapists, and teachers.
Among other unique program aspects, Riding the Wave is in-network with most Aetna insurance plans.
