Find State & International Coordinators

To help provide families living with Selective Mutism with on-the-ground support, we’ve developed a list of international- and U.S.-based coordinators. Treating a child living with SM can require the care of a qualified healthcare professional. Our coordinators connect families, teachers and treating professionals across the world with the valuable information and resources they need. The local recommendations are based on their own experiences and feedback they have heard from other families dealing with SM. Please note: State and International Coordinators are not able to provide any treatment advice.

Coordinators: United States

Our state coordinators are available for in-person, e-mail or phone support regarding SM and related resources in your area. Some states have more than one state contact, while others states may not have a designated coordinator at this time.

If you are interested in becoming a state coordinator in your area, please contact our Connections Coordinator to sign up or to learn more about the program.

International Coordinators

SMA has International Coordinators who help link up families, teachers and treating professionals across the world with the valuable information and resources that they need. United States SMA coordinators are listed above.
