Dr. Larsen is a licensed clinical child psychologist in the state of Georgia. She specializes in research-supported (scientifically-backed) treatments for disruptive behaviors and anxiety-related disorders in preschool and elementary-aged children. Dr. Larsen uses PCIT-SM to treat selective mutism in young children and is currently in the process of becoming a PCIT-SM certified therapist through Kurt Psychology. Further, Dr. Larsen has served as a counselor in several behavioral group intensive interventions for children with selective mutism including younger children (Dr. Steve Kurtz's Mighty Mouth Kids Camp) as well as teens/tweens (Dr. Shelley Avny's WeSpeak).
