What she argues about psychotherapy of children, is that each kid needs a separate, unique way. With some children the sessions take place in her private office, while with others at school, or even in a Mall. Depending on the needs of each child and the stress levels, (speaking of children with selective mutism), the place may change based on the treatment plan. Children's parents and the school are heavily involved in selective mutism treatments as they are key to the success of selective mutism therapy. Finally, she has written a short story about selective mutism, so that the children's classmates can simply understand this disorder. through a playful way.
