Courtney Keeton

Anxiety Treatment Center of Maryland

Dr. Keeton is a clinical psychologist in Howard County Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University followed by a masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Keeton’s training also included a one-year clinical psychology internship at the Duke University Medical Center, Division of Medical Psychology followed by a one-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHU SOM), Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. From 2006 to 2014, she was a full-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins where she worked on several landmark treatment trials for pediatric anxiety, depression, and tic disorders, ran an outpatient clinic focused on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric anxiety disorders including selective mutism, and published dozens of peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and book chapters. Dr. Keeton co-founded the Anxiety Treatment Center of Maryland in 2014, and is determined to provide compassionate, innovative, and effective care to children, adolescents, and their families.
