WeSpeak: Intensive Group Plus 3 Month Follow Up for Ages 10 to 17 in Princeton, NJ

WeSpeak is an intensive behavioral group intervention for pre-teens and teens with SM and significant social anxiety. Simulating all aspects of the school and social environment, WeSpeak provides the opportunity to practice talking across a variety of contexts – targeting many of the verbal and social demands/expectations of this age group. Parent training is also included so that parents can learn the necessary tools to support and coach their kids after the program. WeSpeak now includes a three-month follow-up intervention that consists of individual/family sessions, peer groups, and parent groups to help transfer the skills and progress obtained during the intensive back to the school and community settings.
