Time: 6:00–6:45 PM EST
Program Fee: $600 for the complete 6-week series (no individual drop-in sessions offered)
Does your teen struggle with speaking up, making friends, or feeling confident in social situations?
The SMart Center’s 6-Week,Virtual Social Skills Series is designed especially for teens, ages 13-17, with Social Anxiety, Selective Mutism, and social communication challenges. Led by trained SMart Center clinicians, this 6-week virtual social skills series will give your teen the opportunity to:
- Build social communication confidence through games, role-plays, and teamwork challenges
- Practice real-life social skills like greetings, asking/answering questions, & keeping conversations going
- Strengthen friendship skills, including sharing ideas, problem-solving, & joining group projects
- Discuss coping strategies for managing social anxiety, such as relaxation, preparation, & confidence-building tools
- & so much more!
Every session is guided by trained SMart Center clinicians who understand that communication looks different for everyone. Participants may be nonverbal, beginning to ease into speech, or already verbal but looking to become more confident, comfortable, and connected socially.
