This 6-week virtual course introduces caregivers to the essential tools and strategies behind Parent–Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT–SM). Designed for families at the start of their SM journey — or those wanting to reinforce the basics — this group teaches you how to become your child’s “brave talking coach” at home, in school, and in everyday life.
You’ll learn evidence-based techniques that set the stage for more comfortable verbal communication, explore ways to gently expand your child’s talking circle, and gain practical skills to support social interactions with peers and adults. By the end, you’ll feel more confident guiding your child’s progress and better equipped to support meaningful, lasting change.
