Amanda Greenspan Therapy
Amanda Greenspan, LCSW, specializes in the treatment and evaluation of anxiety and anxiety-related disorders in children, teens and adults. She has specialized interest and expertise in the treatment of anxiety-related disorders including selective mutism, obsessive compulsive disorder, separation anxiety and specific phobias. Amanda is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM). She offers PCIT-SM virtually and in-person and provides school, home and community-based intervention, as well as individual intensive treatment, as needed. Prior to starting her own practice, Amanda was a clinician on the selective mutism service at the Child Mind Institute, an internationally recognized program for children with SM, where she provided individual and group treatment for individuals with SM, presented at schools and conferences, led parent workshops and supervised clinicians in PCIT-SM. Amanda is passionate about helping individuals overcome their anxiety related to speaking and engaging with others, enabling them to fully participate in social interactions and reach their potential. Amanda offers in-person services in Manhattan and Long Island, and is licensed to provide remote treatment for families residing in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.
