Dr. Joseph Constantine is an Assistant Professor in the Communication Disorders Program at Eastern Kentucky University. He is a licensed & ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience helping clients overcome communication anxiety.

Dr. Constantine’s approach to treatment combines cognitive-behavioral therapy with communication skills therapy to address social-emotional awareness, pragmatic language behavior, and emerging speech. He regularly provides community lectures and workshops for teachers and parents on the topic of selective mutism. Dr. Constantine is a dedicated advocate for increased public awareness and improved treatment programs for young children with selective mutism.
