Bryan Bugay specializes in working with children, teens, and adults with Selective Mutism, social anxiety and other anxiety disorders. Bryan uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help people talk in his office, outside of the home, and in school. Bryan also helps with all areas related to Selective Mutism. This may include social anxiety, dealing with feelings, generalized anxiety, perfectionism, behavior at home, increasing confidence, conversational skills, and public speaking. Bryan frequently helps families with parent coaching, family therapy, and talks with school personnel about best practices in working with people with Selective Mutism. Bryan typically has about 10-12 people on his caseload with Selective Mutism at any particular time so many families are able to meet other people in his office with selective mutism and practice working on brave talking or increasing confidence socially.
