For professionals wishing to obtain continuing education credits\, please note that these credits can only be obtained if you attend live conference sessions–you can not watch recorded sessions and obtain continuing education credits. Dr. Chronis-Tuscano’s research focuses broadly on understanding early predictors of developmental outcomes for children with Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (including depression and alcohol/substance use) and developing novel treatments which target these early risk and protective factors. Much of this research has addressed issues related to maternal parenting and psychopathology (namely\, maternal depression and ADHD). A secondary line of research aims to examine the trajectory of young children displaying early behavioral inhibition\, including the development of psychopathology\, and to intervene by targeting key moderators of outcome (e.g.\, parenting and social relationships). \n\n\n\nDr. Chronis-Tuscano is the Past-President of the International Society for Research in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology; Associate Editor of the Journal of Consulting & Clinical Psychology; Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science; Fellow of the Association for Behavioral & Cognitive Therapies (ABCT); Fellow of the Society for Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP); former Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology; and standing member of the NIMH Mental Health Services Research (SERV) review committee. DESCRIPTION:Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants is hosting a 3-day Voices Rising SM intensive camp for children aged 4-10 over MLK weekend. The dates are Saturday\, January 14- Monday\, January 16\, 2023. The in-person program will run at our offices in White Plains\, NY. The winter-themed program will provide many speaking opportunities for children as they work on peer to peer interactions\, presenting opportunities\, and speaking with adults. Parent training will be virtual and is part of the program.
