SUMMARY:True Voices Summer Camp for Ages 4 to 8 in Pittsburgh\, PA
DESCRIPTION:At the Factory in Rockwell Park\, Pittsburgh\, PA \n\n\n\nBria Rakison\, 412-559-8665\, echo.counseling.service@gmail.com \n\n\n\nTrue Voices Summer Camp is a welcoming\, supportive space where children can build confidence and practice using their voice. Grounded in research-based PCIT-SM framework\, our three-day intensive camp is designed to gently help your child feel more comfortable speaking in a group setting. \n\n\n\nThrough thoughtfully designed activities and real-world community experiences\, we focus not only on helping your child feel more capable and confident\, but also on helping you\, the parent or caregiver\, feel supported and prepared. You’ll gain tools and confidence to help your child in those challenging moments when speaking feels hard\, so you’re not navigating those situations alone. \n\n\n\nCamp includes: \n\n\n\n\n15 hours of child-focused therapy in a group setting with an individual counselor who provides one-to-one therapeutic support.\n\n\n\nDaily developmentally appropriate and fun camp events and activities.\n\n\n\n6 hours of parent training in a group setting and additional live coaching with your camper during planned exposures.\n\n\n\n1-hour skills-based teacher training call after camp ends and includes an outline of a progression of speaking goals for the school to follow\, tailored to your child.

SUMMARY:Weekly Virtual SM / Social Anxiety Group for Ages 13 to 17 in NY\, NJ\, and CT
DESCRIPTION:For teens with Selective Mutism and/or Social Anxiety\, everyday moments — such as speaking in class\, initiating a conversation\, or attending a social event — can feel overwhelming. This 60-minute\, once-weekly virtual group is designed to support teens (ages 13 to 17) in taking meaningful steps toward greater communication and confidence. \n\n\n\nUsing evidence-based strategies and real-life practice scenarios\, teens build skills to navigate anxiety\, improve self-awareness\, and connect with peers. Group sessions include a mix of structured activities and organic conversation\, all guided by a clinician who understands how to meet teens where they are and help them move forward. Over time\, teens learn they can show up — even when it’s hard — and that their voice has a place in every space they’re in. \n\n\n\nVisit squareonenyc.com to learn more! \n\n\n\nFee: $200 per session

SUMMARY:SMA Virtual Parent Support Group Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Register herehttps://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/0iWCDPeFT2GP0R6Jya_qRw \n\n\n\nMembers from across the country will come together to share stories\, offer advice and connect with other parents who understand both the challenges and rewards of raising a child with SM. \n\n\n\nIn order to keep the group intimate and allow time for everyone to share\, space will be limited. SMA plans to hold parent support group meetings on an ongoing basis\, so stay tuned for future opportunities to participate. \n\n\n\nThis group is for support only. Clinical advice will not be provided\, and this group is not intended to diagnose selective mutism or serve as a replacement for treatment with a qualified professional. \n\n\n\nThis meeting will be held in English.
