DESCRIPTION:Contact our front office at 888-896-1250 or fill out the camp interest form (https://pinnaclectc.com/camp-interest-form/)\, and our team will contact you directly. \n\n\n\nAges 3- 11 and 12 years and older with Selective Mutism. Clients ages 12+ will have the opportunity to be a Junior Camp Counselor. \n\n\n\nDoes your child have difficulty speaking in school? Talking to peers and new adults? Communicating his or her needs? Outside Voice Camp can help! Outside Voice takes place in a rented private school\, allowing your child to grow confident speaking in a real-life school environment.  \n\n\n\nOur expert counselors will help your child conquer their anxiety around speaking and will help them start to use their “Outside Voice.”  \n\n\n\nOur counselors include local resident family medicine physicians\, allowing your child to grow in the brave talking voice\, while also training local resident physicians in how to help children with Selective Mutism.  \n\n\n\nCampers ages 12 and older will have the opportunity to participate as Junior Camp Counselors. This leadership role allows older campers to build confidence by supporting younger peers\, leading activities\, practicing brave talking in meaningful ways\, and developing social and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.

This 6-week virtual social skills series will give your teen the opportunity to: \n\n\n\n\nBuild social communication confidence through games\, role-plays\, and teamwork challenges\n\n\n\nPractice real-life social skills like greetings\, asking/answering questions\, & keeping conversations going\n\n\n\nStrengthen friendship skills\, including sharing ideas\, problem-solving\, & joining group projects\n\n\n\nDiscuss coping strategies for managing social anxiety\, such as relaxation\, preparation\, & confidence-building tools\n\n\n\n& so much more!\n\n\n\n\nEvery activity is guided by our trained clinicians using ensuring each individual is met where they are\, whether nonverbal\, transitioning into speech\, or verbal!
