SUMMARY:Virtual Beginner Parent and Caregiver SM Skills Training Group
DESCRIPTION:6 Thursdays Online \n\n\n\nCaregivers of children with SM of all ages and from any state/country \n\n\n\nBlake Mooney\, LMHC will be leading a basic parent and caregiver skills training group. This group will provide you with coaching in PCIT-SM\, our evidence-based intervention for selective mutism. These guided practice sessions will help you better lead your child’s verbal practices on your own\, in real life settings. Each session targets a specific skill (see schedule below) that we practice together with therapist feedback right in the moment. There will be home practice assignments between sessions. These guided practice sessions will help guide you through “next-level” skills and strategies to support your child’s brave talking goals. There will be home practice assignments between sessions.
