DESCRIPTION:Confident Kids Camp Toronto \n\n\n\nDates: 15-19th August with fade-ins mostly the week before \n\n\n\nLocation: Beth Sholom Synagogue\, 1445 Eglinton Ave W\, Toronto\, ON M6C 2E6 Canada \n\n\n\nCost: $3750 including intake and fade-in \n\n\n\nConfident Kids Camp is a 5 day intensive intervention for children and young teens with selective mutism.  There will be 3-4 classrooms (divided based on gae) with 6-8 children per class.  Each camper will have a 1:1 counsellor who will be training in the intervention.  Campers have personalized goals that are adjusted throughout the week.  Camp consists of classroom-like activities (including psychoeducation about anxiety and selective mutism and learning management strategies) and external facilitators/field trips (e.g. animals\, clay creations\, ice-cream truck).  There is parent training every day which is not compulsory but highly recommended to ensure you are able to help your child continue making the gains they make at camp.
