Twice Monthly Wednesdays from 9-10am EST via Zoom
Advanced Sign Up is Required and Space is Limited
Center for Anxiety and Behavioral Change in the DC Metro (CABC) area hosts a twice-monthly Coffee & Connections Hour for caregivers of youth with selective mutism (SM) and/or social anxiety, or have signs or symptoms of these conditions. Attendees will build connections and share experiences in a supportive and inclusive environment. *Not therapy, but rather connection and discussion.
Cost: Each session costs $15/person (flexible as needed) and enrollees are required to sign up prior to the Coffee date. All proceeds go directly to a Scholarship Fund for a child with SM to attend Confident Kids Camp-DC Metro, an intensive therapy ‘camp.’
When: Meetings will be held virtually through Zoom on Wednesdays from 9-10am EST, and facilitated by Dr. Lindsay Scharfstein. We welcome local, national, and international families to come together during these times of social distancing and school closures to share experiences, tips, and support.
The dates include following dates (additional dates will be offered based on demand):
For any questions or to enroll, contact Dr. Scharfstein directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 301-610-7850 x 5.
