Ways To Give

Friends of SMG who wish to make a contribution are encouraged to consider the following donor options:

Monetary Gifts

Cash
Cash is often the most convenient form of giving. Give online.

Pledges
Pledges enable a donor to plan a personal giving program that is both convenient and tax-wise. A pledge enables a donor to consider a more significant gift as it is payable over a number of years. Terms for payment on pledges are flexible and at the option of the donor.

Securities

Gifts of Securities may be made outright or as a payment on a pledge. Stock certificates may be assigned directly to SMG or may be transferred through the donor's broker. The mean market value on the date of the transfer will determine the value of the gift for tax purposes. It is best to consult with a Development Officer before a transaction is made. For general questions on securities, please send an email to Joleen Fernald.

Planned Gifts

In certain circumstances, it may be preferable from an estate, financial and tax planning perspective, to consider long-term giving as the best way to make a gift. This can be accomplished through various gift instruments, such as charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, and bequests. For more information on planned giving, contact Joleen Fernald.

Gifts to SMG should be mailed to:

Online Giving

Your generosity will enrich the lives of, and provide hope to, those impacted by Selective Mutism. Your donation can be used to support all of our efforts (general fund), or if you prefer, you may designate your donation to help a specific area of focus or need.

This donation is tax deductible. Please see if your employer has a gift-matching program which is a great way to increase the size and impact of your gift.
