Stories are a powerful way to learn from one another and share one's struggles, triumphs, approaches and experiences with a child or patient with Selective Mutism. Please tell us your story by responding to the questions below.
SMG intends to publish these stories, but guaranties that your identifying information will be held confidential. It will not be published or made available to the public. It's your story that we want to hear and share with others.
Although we do ask for your name and contact information, the purpose is to use this information only to follow up with you should we require additional information. If you choose to not be contacted or interviewed directly, feel free to leave the name and contact information fields blank when submitting your stories.
We appreciate your help in sharing your story with the SMG community. Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability and provide your contact information only if you are comfortable with a director of the SMG board contacting you for an interview regarding your story. Not everyone will be contacted and not all stories may be used in the publication. This decision will be based on the relevance of your story and completeness of information provided.
