Sheila Lepkin, MA, NCSP is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist now in private practice as a Registered Psychotherapist helping children in the Denver Metro area. After receiving her Master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she worked as a school psychologist in the public schools and treated her first students with SM. She loves collaborating with parents, children and schools to create a comprehensive program of treatment for SM. She uses the evidence-based, behavioral techniques recommended by the Child Mind Institute of New York.
Sheila is a Colorado Coordinator for the Selective Mutism Association and enjoys sharing information on Selective Mutism identification and treatment. She has spoken to parent groups, school districts and professional organizations, free gratis.
