Shannon Morgan-Gillard, Psy.D.

Dr. Morgan-Gillard's private practice, The Brave Center for Selective Mutism, is a specialized practice dedicated to diagnosing and treating children with Selective Mutism. Using individual cognitive behavioral and play therapy, family therapy, ongoing education and guidance for families, and directive and consultative educational planning with schools, she supports the child's family and larger community to create fun and effective strategies to minimize the underlying social anxiety in the child's natural environment or "real world." Dr. Morgan-Gillard emphasizes all of the brave steps the child takes toward the goal of talking, while fostering the child's increased sense of competence and pride.
