Kristen Eastman, Psy.D.
Clinical Psychologist and Board Member, Selective Mutism Group - Childhood Anxiety Network
Dr. Eastman specializes in child and family psychology, anxiety disorders, development concerns, and social skills building. She views SM as being a social/communication anxiety disorder and supports SMG's position statement on treatment. Cognitive-behavioral therapy focused on anxiety reduction, self-esteem building, social problem-solving skills development, parent education/guidance, extensive collaboration with school.
Dr. Eastman studied at California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) to earn her Doctorate of Psychology with a Family/Child emphasis in 1999. She has a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), 1997 and a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton, 1995.
