Dr. James Snyder, M.D.

Dr. James Snyder is the Director and Founder of Long Island Psychiatric, PLLC in Roslyn, NY. He completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child Psychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Snyder has previously served as Director of the ADHD Program at North Shore - Long Island Jewish University Hospital and has held academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine and SUNY Stony Brook Department of Pediatrics.

In addition to several published articles in medical journals, Dr. Snyder is also author of Jimmy Racecar, a children’s book dealing with self-esteem issues and ADHD.
