Summer Social
Children's Anxiety-Reduction Socialization Group
Facilitated by Audrey E. Boggs, Psy.D.
Meets every other Saturday, beginning June 18th, and focuses on a topic geared toward decreasing anxiety and increasing self-esteem. Dr. Boggs will utilize the Social Effectiveness Therapy for Children and Adolescents (SET-C) and Coping Cat approaches which have both shown validity in research studies with socially anxious children. In addition, she will incorporate other effective interventions used at AWOH such as her own Butterfly Scale and Consonations techniques. Group activities are offered in a non-intrusive way for children to develop social comfort and cooperation skills with their peers. Ages 5-8. Group fee of $80 per session covers all materials, snacks, and activities. Discounted to $60 per session if 4 or more sessions are purchased at a time. ***Limited to 6 participants, so ENROLL NOW!***
